​Hi, I’m Ru, a dog trainer and behaviourist based in London.

​

If you’re here, chances are something with your dog isn’t quite working the way you hoped. And I get that, because I’ve spent nearly two decades working with dogs and the people who love them.

​

My work has taken me from some of the most vulnerable cases through the RSPCA, to helping owners with everyday dog training and behaviour problems.

 

And what I’ve learned through all of it is this? Dogs aren’t the problem. Communication is.

That’s where I come in.

​

Yes, I’ve studied canine handling and behaviour, including completing a diploma with renowned dog trainer Robert Alleyne through the Canine Instructor Academy. I’m also registered with recognised organisations in the industry, including the Registration Council for Dog Training and Behaviour Practitioners (RCDTBP) and Qualified International Dog Training Instructors (QIDTI). But what matters most to me isn’t the certificates, it’s helping you actually live better with your dog. Because training isn’t about control. It’s about understanding, consistency, and knowing how to show your dog what you need from them in a way they can truly follow.

My goal is simple, it is to help you learn how to better communicate with your dog, so that we can uncover your pet’s better character. I work with dogs and their owners across London, offering one-to-one dog training and behaviour support tailored to the individual dog.
