​Hi, I’m Ru, the dog trainer.

If you’re here, chances are something with your dog isn’t quite working the way you hoped. And I get that, because I’ve spent nearly two decades working with dogs and the people who love them.

​

My work has taken me from some of the most vulnerable cases through the RSPCA, to everyday family dogs. Dogs that were misunderstood, written off, or on the edge of losing their homes.

 

And what I’ve learned through all of it is this? Dogs aren’t the problem. Communication is.

That’s where I come in.

​

Yes, I’ve studied canine handling and behaviour, including a diploma with Robert Alleyne on the Canine Instructor Academy, and I’m registered with recognised organisations in the industry such as The Registration Council for Dog Training and Behaviour Practitioners (RCDTBP) and Qualified International Dog Training Instructors, (QIDTI).. But what matters most to me isn’t the certificates, it’s helping you actually live better with your dog. Because training isn’t about control. It’s about understanding, consistency, and knowing how to show your dog what you need from them in a way they can truly follow.

My goal is simple, it is to help you learn how to better communicate with your dog, so that we can uncover your pet’s better character.
