Rafiki
Head of Life Lessons
Rafiki joined the team after personally testing just about every behavioural challenge a dog could offer and pushing just about every boundary I thought I had. Through patience, learning, and a lot of teamwork, she became the dog who quietly shaped everything this work is about.
She was the kind of dog who taught lessons you cannot learn from books. The kind that asks you to slow down, listen more carefully, and grow alongside them. Much of what sits at the heart of this work was learned with her, step by step.
Rafiki has been involved in the training industry for several years and brought a wealth of lived experience to the team. Her special interests included food, long thoughtful walks, being wonderfully and unapologetically dribbly, and demonstrating that even the most complicated dogs can learn, grow, and find their way.
She strongly believed that all training sessions should include encouragement, patience, and at least a dozen treats. Her main role was ensuring morale remained high, specialising in thoughtful stares, quiet companionship, and reminding everyone that every dog deserves understanding, and the opportunity to be the best they can be.
In September 2025 she left us to cross the rainbow bridge, but her lessons, her spirit, and her pawprints remain part of this work every single day.
She may no longer be walking beside us, but she will always be part of the team.
