These Terms and Conditions apply to all services provided by Ru The Dog Trainer. By booking any service, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Bookings and Payment

All sessions must be paid in full no later than 7 days before the scheduled appointment.

Your booking is only confirmed once payment has been received. If payment is not made within this timeframe, the appointment may be cancelled and the time slot made available to others.

2. Cancellations and Refunds

All payments are non-refundable. Once a service has been booked and paid for, no refunds will be issued under any circumstances, including missed appointments or change of mind.

3. Rescheduling

Appointments may be rescheduled with a minimum of 72 hours’ notice.
Requests made with less than 72 hours’ notice will be treated as a cancellation and the session will be lost.
Rescheduled sessions are subject to availability and must be arranged for a mutually suitable time.

4. Late Arrival

If you arrive late to your session, the session will still end at the agreed time. Time will not be extended to make up for late arrival.

5. Client Responsibility

You are responsible for ensuring that all information provided about your dog is accurate and complete, including behaviour, history, and any known risks.
You remain responsible for the behaviour and safety of your dog at all times, including during and after training sessions.
Ru The Dog Trainer accepts no liability for any injury, damage, or loss caused by your dog.

6. Safety and Training Environment

Training may take place in public or private environments where external factors cannot be controlled.

By attending sessions, you acknowledge that there are inherent risks when working with dogs and agree to take full responsibility for managing your dog safely.

Any guidance or instructions given during training must be followed to help ensure the safety of everyone involved.

7. Trainer Rights

Ru The Dog Trainer reserves the right to refuse, stop, or cancel a session if it is deemed unsafe to continue, if relevant information has been withheld, or if instructions are not being followed.

In these circumstances, no refund will be given.

8. Travel and Additional Costs

Additional fees may apply depending on your location.

This may include travel outside of the standard catchment area, as well as congestion charges, parking fees, or other associated costs. Where possible, these will be discussed in advance.

You are responsible for informing Ru The Dog Trainer in advance of any parking restrictions, permits, or charges at your location. This helps ensure sessions can start on time.

Failure to provide this information may result in delays to your session if suitable parking cannot be found. In such cases, session time will not be extended.

9. Packages and Expiry

Where services are purchased as part of a package, all sessions must be used within 6 months of the original booking date. Any sessions not used within this timeframe will be forfeited and are non-refundable.

10. Media and Social Media

Photos or videos may occasionally be taken during training sessions for training, educational, or promotional purposes. These may be used on social media, websites, or other platforms. If you would prefer not to be included, please let this be known in advance of your session.

11. Changes by Ru The Dog Trainer

If a session needs to be cancelled or rescheduled due to unforeseen circumstances, every effort will be made to rearrange it at a suitable time.

12. Agreement

By booking any service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
