Sessions can be initiated directly through the websites ‘Contact Us' page. Once booked, you will receive confirmation and any preparation information needed for the session.

Payment is required 7 days prior to your appointment. If payment is not received by this time, the appointment slot may be released and offered to another client.

Appointments can be rescheduled with at least 72 hours’ notice. Changes requested with less than 72 hours’ notice will result in the session being lost and the payment retained.

No. Once a session has been booked and paid for, refunds are not offered.

Sessions run to a schedule.  If you arrive late, the session will still finish at the original end time.

All pet dogs. All ages. I work with a wide range of dogs including puppies, adolescent dogs, and dogs experiencing behavioural challenges. This includes (but is not limited to) aggression, resource guarding, over excitement, reactivity, pulling on the lead, poor recall, or impulse control difficulties, and much more.

Yes. I work with dogs struggling with aggressive behaviours. During the initial discussion we will talk about the type of aggression your dog is showing and develop a plan for the safest and most appropriate way to address it.

This depends on the individual dog, the behaviour being addressed, which intervention plan you purchase and how consistently training is practised between sessions.

Training is a process, which needs to be developed into a way of life. Sessions provide guidance, structure, and support, but real progress happens through consistent practice between sessions.

This depends on what is going on for your dog. Initial meetings will usually take place either in your dog’s home or at my training hall: 📍 Ru’s School for Dogs is held in New Cross. 📍 The Steady Walk takes place in Catford. 📍 Public space training sessions are held across Southwark and Lewisham boroughs, in locations suitable for the type of training we are working on.

Everyone in the household who has responsibility for the dog should attend. This helps ensure consistency, which is essential for your dog to succeed.
