Whether you have a dog from a breeder or a rescue, behavioural problems can arise at any time. Dogs can develop issues due to trauma, abuse, fear, or simply because of miscommunication in training. This Behaviour Adjustment Consultation & Training Program is designed to address any behavioural concerns you may be facing with your dog, and to help you turn things around.

Common behavioural issues we can address:

• Aggressive Displays (Barking / Lunging)

• Impulse Control Issues

• Anxiety / Nervousness

• Disobedience

• Excessive Barking

• Resource Guarding

• Scavenging

• High Prey Drive / History of Killing Wildlife

• Recall Problems

• Chasing Fast-Moving People or Things (prams, bikes, joggers, cars, etc.)

 

What’s Included in the Program?

• 1 x 1-2-1 Home Visit Appointment
  Each session lasts approximately 3-4 hours and is focused on addressing the specific behavioural issues your dog is facing.

• Bespoke Training Plan
  You will receive a bespoke training program that provides a detailed intervention plan, outlining what we discussed in your appointment and the steps you can take to address your dog’s behavioural concerns.

• Training on the Day
  I will work with you and your dog during the appointment to implement the training strategies that will help tackle the issues at hand.

• Homework & Handouts
  After the session, you will receive homework tasks and helpful handouts to reinforce the lessons learned during the appointment. These tasks will guide you in working with your dog in a structured way until our next meeting.

• Ongoing Support
  You can stay in touch with you regularly (via video, voice notes, WhatsApp, email, or text) to monitor your progress and help you implement your dog’s training. You are expected to update me at least once a week. If updates are not received, the contract may be terminated.

• Unlimited Aftercare
  You will have unlimited aftercare support from me, with the option to contact me as needed until you feel your dog’s behaviour is resolved. This is available for ongoing guidance and encouragement.​

 

How Dogs Learn & Behavioural Insights

In addition to behaviour-specific training, this program includes:

• How dogs learn: Understanding your dog’s learning process is key to improving their behaviour.

• Socialisation: We’ll talk about the importance of socialisation and how misunderstanding this term could be causing your dog’s behaviour issues.

• Diet and Behaviour: You’ll learn how your dog’s diet can impact their behaviour and how adjusting their diet can contribute to behavioural improvements.

(This includes 1-2-1 home visit, bespoke training program, training session, homework, and 6 months aftercare support. Prices may vary for areas outside the catchment area.)
